Dorothy M. Bingham

Dorothy Bingham, 84, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Tendercare in Mt. Pleasant. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Michigan. Envelopes are available at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 2300 S. Lincoln Rd., Mt. Pleasant. Dorothy was born May 13, 1924, in Isabella County, the daughter of Frederick and Bertha (Jackson) Garber. She retired as an in home health care provider. Dorothy loved sewing and gardening. Dorothy is survived by five children, Bonnie (Jerry) Venn of Tavares, FL, Mark (JoAnn) Bingham of Mt. Pleasant, Eric (Mary Ann) Bingham of Mt. Pleasant, Iris (Jim) Ferrecchia of Marlboro, Mass., and Valerie (Randy) Fenn of Lehi, UT; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Harold Powers of Saginaw. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Lucille Himebaugh, Winifred Ackerman, Ruth Harris, and Eva Mae Powers, a granddaughter, Natalie Tremelling; and a grandson, Jason Bingham.
