Dorothy Irene Driver

Dorothy Irene Driver, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, formally from Fowlerville, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Medilodge in Mt. Pleasant. Dottie was a very special lady, who will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2019, at the VFW Post 3033. Dorothy was born July 13, 1932, in Schell City, Missouri, daughter of the late John and Geraldine (Church) Hicks. Dottie was a life member of the VFW and was, at one time, president of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Mt. Pleasant Post 3033. Dorothy is survived by eight of her 10 her children, Jerry (Mary) Reed of Acworth, GA, Glen (Jane) Reed of West Monroe, LA., Skip (Cindy) Reed of North Muskegon, Ken (Cindy) Reed of Webberville, Steve Reed of Mt. Pleasant, Jim (Tammy) Reed of Marion, Janice Reed (Mike Lovejoy) of Mt. Pleasant and Tom Reed of Winter Haven, FL; honorary son, Bo Kelley of Vanderbilt; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Geraldine Hicks; husband, Lyle Driver; sons, Fredrick (1963"1966) and Timothy (1960"2014); seven brothers, Mike, Herb, John, Ben, Lee, Glenn, and Charles; and two sisters, Faye and Jo. Dottie was a very special lady who will be missed by all.
