Dorothy O. Moon

Dorothy Moon, 87, of Lake Isabella passed away Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006 at home. Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Weidman United Methodist Church with Pastor David Price officiating. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery at 3 p.m. Friends may call at Lux Funeral Home on Friday from 5-8 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Dorothy was born June 16, 1919 in Gratiot County, the daughter of Llewellyn and Mary (Youdan) Krepps. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was involved in the Womens ministry at church. She leaves behind her four children, Dean (Mary Lou) Moon of Fremont, Patricia (Jack) Draper of Lake Isabella, Robert P. (Judy) Moon Jr. of Ithaca and Gary (Mary) Moon of Grand Ledge; one brother, Gerald (Ethel) Krepps of Dearborn; one sister, Donna Harnick of Flint; 12 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Moon Sr. in 2004; her parents; one brother, Harold Krepps; two sisters, Lillian Dillsworth and Doris Fischer.
