Earl Butch Wilson III, 31, of Mt. Pleasant died Friday, February 15, 2002 in an accident while working in Grand Traverse County. His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lux Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Ruyts officiating. Burial will be in Chippewa Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Earl was born August 29, 1970, in Alma, the son of Earl and Barbara (Irwin) Wilson II. He was a rig hand and welder for Bigard and Huggard Drilling Company for the past two years. He has been in the oil field industry for the last 13 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley, camping, and just being outdoors. Butch is survived by his companion of 13 years, Rhonda Schoen of Mt. Pleasant; three children, Anthony (Kara Davis) Schoen, Michell (Mike) Gale, and Jamie Langlois, all of Mt. Pleasant; his mother, Barbara Wilson of Mt. Pleasant; his father, Earl (Louise) Wilson II of Evening Shade, Ark.; three sisters, Barbara (Lance) Poulson of Ft. Lewis, Wa., Dawn Wilson of Mt. Pleasant, and Francis Wilson of Mt. Pleasant; and nine grandchildren, Gabby, Tyler, Ally, Tina, Drew, Doug, Kiylee, Noah, and Brittany. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Rhunell Irwin.
