Edgar Lyle Brooks

Edgar Brooks, 92, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility in Mt Pleasant. Edgar enjoyed being outside.  He liked to fish with anyone willing to go.  He took pride in his woodworking skills and would share pieces he made with his friends and family.  Edgar married his wife Lola on November 17, 1956, and together they took many trips on his motorcycle across the United States.  They also liked to go snowmobiling with family and friends.  Edgar is survived by his daughters, Brenda Marlatt of Lakeview, and Johanna (Troy) Olrich of Blanchard; grandchildren, Greg (Lacye) Christiansen, Stacey (Randy) Baker, Terry Bowerman, Yolanda Nummer, Denise St. Clair, Matthew Nummer and Chanda Rhodes; many great and great great grandchildren; and special friends, Charlie (Elaine) Johnson. Edgar is preceded in death by both parents; wife, Lola in 2013; and daughter, Connie Dietrick. Cremation has taken place at Memorial Fields Crematory and there are no services scheduled at this time.
