Edith "Polly" M. Lalone

Edith Polly LaLone, 85, of Oil City, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014, at her home. Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, at Lux Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant with Pastor David Butler of Littlefield Outreach Ministries officiating. Burial will be in Kelly Cemetery in Greendale Township, Midland County. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service begins at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Polly was born Nov. 25, 1928, in Elizabethtown, KY, daughter of the late Raymond and Ruby Williams. She married William LaLone on Sept. 11, 1954. She enjoyed playing Bingo and dumpster diving with her friend Mary Thomas. Polly is survived by her children, Ruth (Bob) Champlin of Blanchard, Mary (Rick) Saumier of Midland, Ruby (Russ) Machuta of New Mexico, Gary (Robin) LaLone of Waterford and Gordon (Jackie) LaLone of Midland; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
