Edward F. Clagett, 50, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Saginaw died Monday, December 10, 2001 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland. His memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, at Lux Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Dale Freed of New Life Ministry officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Ed was born May 3, 1951, in Saginaw, the son of Thomas and Ruth (Sirich) Clagett. He married Paula (Jarvi) Russell August 1, 1998 in Saginaw. Ed was an electrical engineer and owned and operated C.S.E.C. He was an avid Golfer. He is survived by his wife Paula Clagett of Mt. Pleasant; his father, Thomas (Barbara) Clagett of Charlevoix; two step-sons, Casey (Niki) Russell of Mt. Pleasant and Todd (Cari Cole) Russell of Denver, CO; one grandson, Zack Russell; three sisters, Pat (Lou) Ognisanti of Saginaw, Marcy (Mark) Flora of El Paso, TX, and Jane (Bruce) Laing of Dowagiac, MI; seven step-brothers and step-sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Clagett.
