Edwin O. Chaffee

Edwin O. Chaffee, age 81, of Lake passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020.

Ed was born in Lansing, MI to Edwin J. & Dorothy (Partridge) Chaffee on June 17, 1938. On August 10, 1962 Ed married the love of his life Marilynn Warn who preceded him in death.

Ed was a retiree of General Motors (Oldsmobile) where he had worked as a Union Rep. and Fork Lift driver for over 30 years. Ed loved fishing, hunting, drinking beer with his friends. Ed was a member of the Eagles, Moose Lodge and Lake Rod and Gun Club.

Ed is survived by his daughter Michelle (James) Chafee-Wilgus, grandchildren Jessica and Ryan, sister Patricia. Ed will be missed by his many friends here and in Florida.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marilynn, sons, Craig and Rodney, siblings, Oscar and Vicki Lou and Caroline.

Due to the gathering restrictions currently imposed by the corona virus outbreak there will be no services at this time.
