We invite you to take a moment and celebrate the life of Elisabeth McDonald, who passed away April 29, 2022. Through the many adventures and paths life has taken her, she always perceived and grew into the Oma we all know and love. Whether you knew her from coming into schools, through the many groups/clubs she founded or participated in, as friend or Oma, she always brought love and acceptance to all she met. Her hands were always busy, raising grandkids, cooking, crafting, gardening and helping others. She was a gem that taught us all to enjoy life and simple moments: to look for the rainbow in the storm. She was a pillar of strength with an unforgettable smile and a sweet German accent. So in her honor, sing those praises of silent night, raise a glass, buy some flowers, plant some seeds, knit/crochet a pair of socks or sit still in the garden and watch the birds - I know we will be.

We will let your light shine through us. Rest in peace in the arms of the universe.
