Elizabeth Amelia Trussell

Elizabeth Trussell, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at Prestige Centre. She was born May 25, 1933, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline (Bush) Recker. A 1951 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, Elizabeth married Leo F. Trussell on December 31, 1955, in Lansing, Michigan. She was a member of the Central Michigan Free Methodist Church and the VFW ladies auxiliary. Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 63 years, Leo Trussell; granddaughter, Christine (Oscar) Silvas of Arizona; and two sisters, Loretta Humphrey of St Louis and Delores Morse of Saginaw. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, William Trussell; and brother, Jim Recker. Cremation has taken place. No formal services are planned. Her ashes will be interred in Riverside Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
