Eloise K. Ruddell, 92, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Flint passed away Thursday, October 19, 2006 at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility. She was born July 7, 1914, in Sullivan County, Indiana, the daughter of John and Opal (Wence) McCracken. She married Burnell Ruddell in 1936. They moved to Flint where Eloise worked as a beautician. She also lived in Lakeland, Fla. for 15 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and gardening. Eloise is survived by four children, Jacqueline (Dewayne) Lahar of Flushing, William (Joan) Ruddell of Mt. Pleasant, Sandra Ochodnicky of Lakeland, Fla., and Douglas (Brenda) Ruddell of Otter Lake; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burnell; a daughter, Sally Mather; her parents; and three brothers, Forrest, Leland, and Byron McCracken. Cremation has taken place and visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Banks and Brust Funeral Home, 400 N. Court St., Sullivan Indiana, 812-268-0238. Interment of her cremains will take place immediately following at Center Ridge Cemetery.
