Enedina Quezada, 82, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Her funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Father Don Henkes officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Cremation will follow the service and her ashes will be interred at Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Enedina was born July 6, 1932, in Sealy, TX, daughter of the late Santos and Anita (Ventura) Lopez. She married Leo Quezada on Dec. 4, 1954 in Mt. Pleasant and later had the marriage blessed on July 14, 1956 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was employed at Tolas Restaurant as a cook and later for Central Michigan Community Hospital as a dishwasher. She retired from CMCH in 1987. Enedina enjoyed embroidery and shopping, and most of all, spending time with her family. Enedina is survived by 10 children, Virginia (John) Alexander of Grand Ledge, Arthur Lopez of the Upper Peninsula, Anita Muz of Mt. Pleasant, Elisa Schleder of Mt. Pleasant, Delmar Quezada of Michigan, Carmen Quezada (Rob Davis) of Mt. Pleasant, Joseff Quezada of Coleman, and Mary (Delmar Jr.) Jackson, Leonard (Rhonda) Quezada and Julian (Terri) Quezada, all of Mt. Pleasant; 30 grandchildren, including Dan Quezada, whom she raised; many great-grandchildren; three siblings, Robert Lopez of Traverse City, and Eleanor Lopez and John (Joyce) Lopez, both of Mt. Pleasant; her aunt, Vincenta Lopez of Mt. Pleasant; sister-in-law, Virginia Lopez of Shepherd; daughter-in-law, Wanda Quezada of Mt. Pleasant; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo in 1994; two sons, Leo and Roy Quezada; two sons-in-law, John Muz and Martin Schleder; brother, David Lopez; and two sisters, Anita Medrano and Delphina Vasquez.
