Eugene Bambach

Eugene Bambach, 80, a resident of Coldwater Lake in Weidman, Michigan, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at home with his family by his side. He was born August 26, 1939, in Port Austin, Michigan, son of the late Nick and Selma (Brooks) Bambach, Jr. A 1958 graduate of Bad Axe High School, Gene married Janet Stirrett on March 5, 1960, in Bad Axe. Gene owned and operated Bambach Masonry, owned and built numerous apartments, and owned laundry and drycleaners in Clare. He also farmed. Gene is survived by his wife, Janet; three children, Gregg (Traci) Bambach of Mt. Pleasant, Jeffery Bambach of Weidman, and Cherrie Bambach of Weidman; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; siblings, Robert Bambach of Lake Orion and Joann Pavlik of Prudenville. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jack Bambach. Cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned.
