Frances A. Cook, 80, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Milford died Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at Tendercare in Mt. Pleasant. Her funeral will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, March 26, at Lux Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Tony Waldrop of Glad Tidings Church in Oil City officiating. Visitation is Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and on Friday from 1 p.m. until the service begins. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pentecostal Ladies Auxiliary of Glad Tidings Church. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. Frances was born February 19, 1924, in Glenwood, MN, the daughter of Martin and Josie (Dahl) Rust. She married Arnold Cook February 19, 1964, in Highland and they remained in that area until they moved to Mt. Pleasant in 1997. She worked as a bartender and cook in the Milford area for 20 years. She attended Glad Tidings Church. Frances is survived by her daughter, Janice (David) Campbell of Mt. Pleasant; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Marion Suckstorff of Alexandria, MN; two brothers, Donald (Sharon) Rust of Rosemonte, MN, and Art Rust of Minneapolis, MN; two sisters-in-law, Gerri Rust of Valley Spring, SD and Irene Rust of Minneapolis, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold in 2000; three sisters; and three brothers.
