Frances M. Sheets

Frances M. Sheets, age 95, of Farwell, MI, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015`at the MediLodge in Clare. Frances was born on November 20, 1920 in Rosebush, Michigan to Harry Gilbert and Flora Edith (Bellinger) Taylor. She married Clyde Walter Sheets on September, 28, 1939 in Mt. Pleasant. Frances was a lifetime area resident who worked as a beauty operator in her own shop for five years, she also worked as a teletypist for Sears for eight years, as a teller for Isabella Bank and Trust for two years, for CMU as a department manager in the book store for ten years. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 1:00 pm from Rowley Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Mr. Andrew Apps of the Church of Christ in Farwell officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 11 am until time of the service. Frances is survived by her son, Gilbert; six grandchildren, Ronald C. and April Sheets, Scott and Julie Sheets, Randy Sheets, Shawn and Tina Sheets, Sherri and Roger Zimmerman and Becky and Guy Hursh; many great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; and a sister, Maxine Bucher of Westin, West Virginia. Frances was predeceased by her spouse; a son, Clyde Roger Sheets; both parents; and three great grandchildren. Memorials have been suggested to the VFW Post 3033 Womens Auxiliary.
