Rick Lloyd, 69, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of the Pacific West Coast died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is being served by Lux Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Mt. Pleasant. Those planning to make an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Hospice of Central Michigan. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. Rick was born April 27, 1935, in Sebewaing, the son of William Thomas and Mazie Evelyn (Bright) Lloyd. He married Marilyn Burnett in April of 1979. He owned and operated a hot air balloon company in Aspen, Colorado and also worked as a music promoter. He moved to the area in 2000. He was an avid historian and friend of Bill W. for 25 years. Rick is survived by his wife Marilyn Burnett Lloyd of Weidman; sons, James Burnett and Terry Bonnau of Weidman; daughter, Debbie Edsall of Colorado; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Arlen, and Janell; and a special friend, Jo Redman from Hospice of Central Michigan.
