Garry Jon Labelle

Garry LaBelle, 59, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 7, 2019, at his home. Cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home on Friday, January 11, from 6-8 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Garry was born February 4, 1959, in Pigeon, Michigan, son of Bernard and Verna (Ellis) Wiechert. His mother later married John LaBelle who adopted him as his son. A 1977 graduate of Alma High School, Garry married Vicki Chamberlain on June 9, 1995, in Mt. Pleasant. Garry owned and operated DME Transport. Some of his favorite pastimes were running, fishing, and music. Garry is survived by his wife, Vicki; three children, David LaBelle of Farwell and twins, Ellie and MacLaen LaBelle, both of Mt. Pleasant; siblings, Coleen (John) Cottick of Caseville, Larry (Vicky) Wiechert of Georgia and Claudia LaBelle of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant daughter, Jennifer.
