Gary E. Dunlap

Gary Dunlap, 60, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Friday, July 29, 2016, at McLaren Central Michigan. He was born June 4, 1956, in Jackson, MI, son of the late Donald and Betty (Goddard) Dunlap. He married Lorrie King on Aug. 25, 1989. He was employed by Microtech and had also been a truck driver for Mears, R & T Murphy Trucking, and Fisher Transportation. Gary is survived by his wife, Lorrie; three children, Lisa Pringle of Mesa, AZ, Christopher (Lisa) King of Shepherd, and Allie Dunlap of Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren, Lilly, Abby, and Colton; six siblings, Connie (Terry) Thornton of Grand Rapids, Ron (Terry) Dunlap of Loomis, Tom Dunlap of Clare, Deb (Bob) Wells of Edenville, and Randy Dunlap of Clare, Dusty (Tim) Merritt of Harrison; parents-in-law, Larry and Pat King of Mt. Pleasant; brothers-in-law, Joel (Pam) King and Jim (Dawn) King, both of Weidman, and Tim (Catherine) King and Kevin King, both of Gulf Shores, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place and his family will be holding an informal gathering.
