Gary E Gladding, age 67, of Weidman passed away on January 31, 2014 at home.



Gary was born on June 12, 1946 to Earl and Joan (Robertson) Gladding at Alma, MI. He was raised in the Elm Hall and Riverdale area. Gary graduated from Vestaburg High School in 1964. He worked as a service technician for General Telephone, retiring in 1999. Gary enjoyed going fishing and hunting, eating ice cream, cutting wood, woodworking and go-cart racing; he especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a member of the NRA.



Gary is survived by his children; Cassandra (Tom) Ottley, Lisa (Jodi) Gladding, Christopher (Candee) Gladding, and Aaron (Chana) Gladding; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary is also survived by his life partner, Mary Terwilliger.



A service celebrating Gary's life is scheduled for Friday, February 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Seville Community Church of God on M-46 in Elwell with Pastor George Showers officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m prior to the service.



Memorial donations in Gary's memory can be made to the Habitat for Humanity.
