Genevieve Fox, 85, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008 at Schnepp Health Care Center in St. Louis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Robert Byrne presiding. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at Lux Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with the vigil beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. She was born July 27, 1922, in Weidman, the daughter of John A. and Rosena A. (Faber) Neubecker. She married Gerald Fox in 1948 at St. Philomena Church in Beal City. Genevieve is survived by three children, James (Jan) Fox of Grand Rapids, Thomas (Patty) Fox of Mt. Pleasant, and Nancy (Chris) West of Mt. Pleasant; six grandchildren, Jessica (Trevor) Brooks, Sara (Bob) Tefft, Matt (Mandy) Fox, Angie (Mark) Fortin, Stuart (Sydney) Fox, and Norman Fox; six great-grandchildren, Richard and Christopher Brooks, Elise Tefft, William and Zachary Fortin, and Kayden Fox; brother, Ron (Barb) Neubecker of Clare; sister, Dorothy Tilmann of Beal City; sister-in-law, JoAnn Neubecker of Mt. Pleasant; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald in 1994; brother, Norman Neubecker; two sisters, Vada Holp and Luella Lawler; and two brothers-in-law, James Lawler and Albert Tilmann.
