Gertrude Ann (Sweet) Coddington

Gertrude Ann (Sweet) Coddington, age 90, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at The Laurels.

Gertrude was born on October 31, 1926 to Burt G. & Sylvia M. (Swan) Sweet in Mt. Pleasant. She grew up in Mt. Pleasant and surrounding area. She worker at Motor Wheel and Diamond Reo in Lansing for over 15 years. Gertrude loved drawing, fishing, dancing and riding motor cycles, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Gertrude leaves to cherish her memory grandsons Joseph & Steven Fish; sisters, Imogene Bullard & Marjorie Palmer and loving dog Buffy. Gertrude is also survived by a very special great grandson Tyler Fish.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey, daughter Connie Fish, parents, brother Burt Sweet Jr & sisters Ester Vondoloski, and Julia Smalley.

Per Gertrude's request cremation has taken place.
