Trudy Robinet, 85, of Lake Isabella and formerly of St. Charles died Monday, May 23, 2005 at the Laurels in Mt. Pleasant. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, at St. Joseph The Worker Church in Beal City with Father John Cotter presiding. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery in Saginaw. Friends may call at Lux Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with a vigil service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Michigan (www.hospicecentralmich.com) or St. Joseph Church (2163 N. Winn Rd., Mt. Pleasant MI 48858). Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. Trudy was born June 18, 1918, in Detroit, the daughter of Stanley and Mary (Dumanski) Stacherski. She married George Robinet in 1949. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and was active in the Council of Catholic Women. Some of her favorite pastimes were traveling, playing cards, dancing and baking. Trudy is survived by her daughter, Judy and Skip Curtis of Lake Isabella; her granddaughter, Tracey Curtis of Freeland; four brothers, Leo Stacherski of Detroit, Edward (Clara) Stacker of Florida, Richard (Kay) Stacherski of California, and Tom (Julie) Stacherski of North Branch; three sisters, Marie Wegrzyn of Sterling Heights, Gerri (Peter) Pribik of Highland, and Patricia Janek of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George in 1988; grandson, Brian Curtis; brother, Henry Stacherski; and sister, Theresa Stacherski.
