Glenda Pauline Mckillip (Davis)

Glenda McKillip, 95, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2022.  Glenda was born on August 19, 1927, in Cleveland, Oh., daughter of the late George and Lela (Lamp) Davis.  She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School with the class of 1945.  Glenda married Raymond McKillip in Indiana, on November 21, 1946.  Together the raised four children, Marian, Jean Ann, Joe and Susan. She worked at Van Dries Bakery for many years.  Was co-owner of Ray's Bay Station in Shepherd, working beside her husband, before eventually retiring from the Regional Center in Mt. Pleasant.  During her retirement, Glenda and Ray spent most of their time enjoying Coldwater Lake.  She also enjoyed playing cards, fishing, bingo, and croqueting. Glenda was a life member of the VFW in Weidman.  She will be greatly missed by many.  Glenda is survived by her children, Marian (Michael) Fussman of Alma, Jean (Jerry) McClain of Mt. Pleasant, and Susan (Steve) Hardenburgh of Chippewa Lake; five grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by both parents; husband, Raymond in 2006; son, Raymond in 2015; and five siblings.  Per Glenda's wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no other services scheduled at this time.
