Beautiful angel Gracen Maize Jankowski was born sleeping and called home to God on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Central Michigan Community Hospital. He was born at 19 weeks gestation to his loving parents, Nicole and Jonathan Jankowski. While not able to hold or see him for long, he touched the lives of not only his parents, but the rest of his family and many friends. Gracen is survived by his parents, Nicole and Jonathan Jankowski of Mount Pleasant, his older brother Kenton; his grandparents, Brenda Crooks and Ronald Flegel of Ithaca, Mark and Linda Crooks of Warsaw, IN, Christina and Glenn Hoover of Findlay, OH, Angela Jankowski and Bill Gall of Clio; great-grandparents, Christine Sebring of Garden City, MI, Muriel Crooks of Ithaca, Dale Betzer of Riverdale, and Dolores Hoover of Midland; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Joanne Cummings; his great-grandfathers, Stuart Crooks and Dale Hoover, his great-great-grandmothers, Gertrude Fensch and Ruth Way, and great-great-aunt Rosalie Lavigne. Gracen's body will be cremated and a memorial service held at a later date for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gracen's name to the March of Dimes and St. Jude Childrens Research.
