Hazel E. Tallman

Hazel E. Tallman, 102, of Mt. Pleasant died Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at Lux Funeral Home with Father Don Henkes officiating. Visitation is from 10-11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Commission on Aging. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. Hazel was born June 3, 1901, in Detroit, the daughter of Emery and Margaret (Johnson) Becker. She married Thomas Tallman on June 15, 1963 in Mt. Pleasant. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, scrapbooking newspaper articles for family and fishing with her husband, Tom. Hazel is survived by her step-daughter, Barbara Jane Demski of Ishpeming; and three grandchildren Rick (Mary Beth) Roberts of Mt. Pleasant and their sons, Michael, Christopher and John; Dawn (David) Farley of Traverse City and their sons, Nathan and Ryan; and Debra Jane (Dr. Michael) Wagner of Tawas and their children, Alex and Adrienne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas in 1992; and step-son-in-law, Frank Demski in 1996.
