Helen J. Hartz

Helen Hartz, 99, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Medilodge of Mt. Pleasant. A Funeral Mass for Helen will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, September 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Don Henkes as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with a luncheon to conclude at Sacred Heart Parish Hall. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Parish. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. Helen was born January 17, 1918, in Beckemeyer, IL, daughter of the late Henry and Agnes (Koch) Wolfe. She moved to Mt. Pleasant in 1992. Helen is survived by her daughter, Mary Taylor of Alma; two grandsons, James and Richard; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Agnes Wolfe; two brothers, Joe Wolfe and Bill Wolfe; and three sisters, Gertrude Karbon, Elizabeth Stankwitz, and Margaret Vallier.
