Howard Melvin Anderson Jr.

Howard Melvin Anderson, Jr. age 58 of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, formerly of Lansing, Michigan passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at McLaren-Central Michigan. Howard was born February 2, 1959 in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Howard Melvin Anderson, Sr. and Carol Frank. On October 6, 1979, Howard married Charlotte Ann Lewis in Lansing. A resident of Mt. Pleasant for the past five years, coming from Lansing. He was a master mechanic and was employed at Tuffy Muffler for the past five years. He enjoyed fishing, quad riding and his grandchildren. Howard was a master echanic. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; three daughters: Isannah and Rick Henkes of Mt. Pleasant, Kelly Anderson and her finance Ruben Rodriguez of Lansing and Monica Anderson of Mt. Pleasant. Also surviving are grandchildren: Emilo, Alannah, Juan, Dominic, Ruben, Jr., Lucio, Orianna, Elianna and Davion. His mother, Carol Frank of Lansing and three nieces and nephews, Teddy Anderson, Jr., Christine Anderson and Zach Anderson. Howard was preceded in death by his brother Teddy. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions have been suggested to assist the family
