HOWARD F. BEUTLER

Howard F. Beutler, age 86 of Sherman Township, Weidman went home to be with his Lord on November 3, 2016. Howard was born the son of Clyde and Claribel Beutler. He fought a courageous battle of cancer for many years. Howard graduated from Weidman High School in 1948. Howard was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1951 and was honorably discharged in 1953.

Howard is survived by his loving wife, Marian, daughter Laurel, son Donald (Christine) grandchildren Jim Anderson, Andrew Beutler, Jayden Beutler, sister Marjorie Tibbetts of Lansing, sisters-in-law Audrey Beutler of Grand Rapids and Mary Beutler of Weidman; brother-in-law, Art Homan of Mt. Pleasant and many nieces and nephews.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jim and Carl, sister Jeanette, brothers-in-law, Robert Tibbetts and Forrest Johnston and son-in-law, James Anderson.

Howard was a member of the Weidman United Methodist Church, James A Cliff Lodge #424, Royal Arch Masons of Mt. Pleasant, 32 ^nd degree Mason of Scottish Rite, Bay City, Past Commander of VFW #4106, Farm Bureau and The American Legion.

A celebration of life will be held at Weidman United Methodist Church on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Scott Smith officiating. A visitation will be held at the Maier Family Funeral Home on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m and also on Monday for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorial donations in Howard's honor may be made to the Weidman United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the church and funeral home.
