Imogene Mary Foldesi

Imogene Mary Foldesi, 80, of Mt. Pleasant died Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at Central Michigan Community Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 1, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Robert Byrne presiding. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at Lux Funeral Home on Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with a vigil service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Academy Foundation. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. Imogene was born May 13, 1923, in Isabella County, the daughter of Frank and Louise (Gallagher) Walker. She married Julius Foldesi on November 26, 1944 at Sacred Heart Church. She worked as a Direct Care Worker at the Mt. Pleasant Regional Center for several years. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing cards. Imogene is survived by five children, Sally Weide of Grand Rapids, Susan (Peter) Bierschbach of Midland, Robert (Nancy) Foldesi of South Bend, IN, William (Deborah) Foldesi of Mt. Pleasant and James (Shari) Foldesi of Seal Beach, CA; nine grandchildren, Jerry and Jeff Weide, Rob, Todd, Amy, Andy and Morgan Foldesi, and Matt and Nicole Bierschbach; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bernice Hutchins of Mt. Pleasant, Eloise Onteid of La Jolla, CA, and Julia (Ted) Konicki of Fremont; two brothers, Tom (Thelma) Walker and John (Gladys) Walker, both of Mt. Pleasant; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Julius; her parents Frank and Louise Walker; brother Ed Walker and grandson Jay Weide.
