Imogene Fay Johnson

Imogene Johnson, 92, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Monday, May 3, 2022, at the Isabella County Medical Center.  Imogene was born on July 22, 1929, daughter of the late John and Millie (Brown) Stone, in Boone County, WV.  She married Gerald Johnson on April 6, 1946, in Mt. Pleasant.  Together they raised their five children.  Imogene loved working and volunteering.  She worked at the Greendale Senior Center Site for more than 13 years.  She loved putting puzzles together and watching TV.  Over the years she spent a lot of time putting together picture albums of the family.   Imogene is survived by her children, Sandra Johnson of Sanford, Steven (Pam) Johnson of Coleman, Marsha Orwig of Oil City, Carla Mogg of Oil City and Clayton (Lisa) Johnson of Shepherd; grandchildren, Paul (Candi) Johnson of Oil City, Tammy (Bill) Goffnett of Coleman, Michelle (Mark) Fortier of Coleman, Sarah (Russ) Zilska of Lakeview, Kayla Mogg of Oil City, Tyler Johnson of Oil City and Kyle Johnson of Oil City; ten great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; sisters, Patsy Marshall of Harrison, Peggy (Bob) Neal of Florida, and Betty Benzinger of Shepherd.  She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Gerald; and brothers, Eugene, and Pete Stone.
