Irene A. Price

Irene Price, 80, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021, at McLaren Central Michigan. She was born August 25, 1940, in Pontiac, Michigan, daughter of the late George and Irene B. (Gerenscer) Zaha. After graduating from St. Frederick High School in Pontiac, she married James Robert Price Jr. on April 15, 1961, in Clarkston. She moved to Mt. Pleasant in 1973 and eventually became the bookkeeper of Independent Well Rig Supply. Irene always carried herself well, enjoyed shopping, collecting antiques, enjoyed arts and crafts, spending time boating, and accompanying Bob to car shows. Irene is survived by four children, Dianna Epple (Jerry Camp) of Mt. Pleasant, James R. Price III of Lake Isabella, Dannette (Mike) Beltinck of Bloomfield Hills, and John Price of Mt. Pleasant; six grandchildren, Theresa (Jason) Frederick, Emily (Jeff) Halfmann, Jacob (Chelsea) Epple, and Alex, Ben, and Isabel Beltinck; and four great grandchildren, Isaac and Ella Frederick and McKenna and Mason Halfmann; sister, Mary Zaha of Orion; and sister in-law, Lois Zaha of Orion. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob in 2019; two siblings, Genevieve Bernard and George Zaha. Irene's funeral will be private. She will be laid to rest in All Saints Cemetery in Waterford, next to her husband, Bob.
