James F. Sheahan

James Sheahan, 72, of Lake, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 6, 2014, at his home. He was born Dec. 18, 1941, in Beal City, son of the late Donald and Agnes (Grinzinger) Sheahan. He graduated from Beal City High School in 1960 and married Rose Ann Reihl on May 1, 1970 at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Beal City. He was employed by Dow Chemical for 37 years, retiring in 2001. Jim is survived by his wife, Rose; son, Dave (Barbara) Sheahan of Perrinton; two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Lyndsey; three sisters, Sister Maureen Catherine Sheahan of Grand Rapids, Mary Lou (Marshall) Jurn of Phoenix, AZ, and Patricia Sutton of Naples, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Those wishing to pay their respects to the family may do so on Sunday, Oct. 12 from 2-5 p.m. at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. The family has respectfully requested no flowers or donations.
