Jeanette Lucille Rescoe

Jeanette Lucille Rescoe, age 72, of Weidman and Clermont, Florida passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Woodland Hospice surrounded by her loving family.

Jeanette was born on May 23, 1943 to Buel and Helen (Crawford) Egbert in Mt. Pleasant. Jeanette was raised in the Weidman and Mt. Pleasant area. Jeanette Egbert married the love of her life, Lawrence O. Rescoe at the United Methodist Church in Weidman on June 15, 1968. Jeanette graduated from Central Michigan University with a Master's degree in teaching. She taught at Chippewa Hills Weidman Elementary for 31 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Weidman prior to their move to Clermont. She was an active member at the Clermont United Methodist Church.

Jeanette loved witnessing to others about Christ. Her passion was teaching children, aqua aerobics, and singing in church. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Clermont Gardening Club.

Jeanette is survived by her loving husband Larry; children, Christina (Duane) Martin of Remus and Theresa (Brad) Spayd of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Tyler, Brent (Hannah Ervin), Caleb (Nicole Snyder) Martin, Alana, Adam, and Austin Spayd; siblings, Barbara (Robert) Stark and Edythe (Dan) Sloyer and many family members and friends.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Jeanette's Life will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Barryton Church of Christ, 18221 30 ^th Avenue in Barryton with Pastor Rick Lippert officiating. The family will meet with friends from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. prior to the service.

Memorial donations in Jeanette's memory may be made to Woodland Hospice of Mt. Pleasant or Conley Hospice House of Clermont, FL. Envelopes will be available at the church or funeral home.
