Jeffrey A. Lucksted

Jeff Lucksted, 53, of Shepherd and formerly of Mt. Pleasant, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 13, 2014, in Grayling. His memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 19 at Lux Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Jeremy Selvidge officiating. A luncheon will follow the service. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the service begins. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lucksted family for his sons education fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Jeff was born September 22, 1960, in Grayling, son of Allan R. and Bethany A. (Koerber) Lucksted. He had been employed by The Delfield Company for over 20 years as a sales representative. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors, especially in Grayling. Jeff is survived by his two sons, Ryan and Kyle of Mt. Pleasant; mother, Bethany Lucksted of Granger, IN; two sisters, Jodi (Michael) Meyers of Kalamazoo and Tracie (Tim) Strauss of Granger, IN; one niece; and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Allan in 2013.
