Jenny E. Dionise

Jennie E. Dionise, 84, of Clarkston and formerly of Mt. Pleasant, passed away June 5, 2008 in Clarkston. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 9, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Robert Byrne presiding. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home, 2300 S. Lincoln Rd. Visitation continues at the church on Monday from 10-11. Memorial contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice Care. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Jenny was born Dec. 29, 1923, in St. Louis, the daughter of Clair and Laura (Humprey) Oswald. She retired from Central Michigan University and was a member of Sacred Heart Parish. Jenny is the beloved wife of the late Samuel; loving mother of Mary (Joseph) Catanzarite of Clarkston; dear grandmother of Laura (Steven) Ferich, Gina Hubbs and Joseph (Erin) Catanzarite; beloved great-nana of Collin and Evan Hubbs and Caden and Vincent Ferich; sister of James (Carolyn) Oswald, Janet (Stan) Horneck, Robin (Marion) Thurlow, and Beatrice, deceased, (Jerry) Ross. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
