Jessica Neal Smith

Jessica Smith, 38, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Lincoln Reception Center, (attached to Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home, 2300 S Lincoln Rd., Mt. Pleasant). Immediately following will be a luncheon. Jessica was very passionate about music which included singing and playing piano. She poured her love into cooking and baking for others. Jess had a kind, loving, and compassionate heart and knew how to make anyone smile. She was very creative and artistic. Jess was also a dedicated advocate for ALS and mental health awareness. Jessica is survived by her parents, Don and Brenda Neal of Rosebush; daughter, Juliana Gayle Lawrence of Maurice, LA; two sons, Noah Shaun Ardoin, and Aidan Isaiah Ardoin of Scott, LA; sister, Montana (Carl Swanbeck) Emery of Munger; brother, Dakota Neal of Rosebush; nieces, Camille Emery, Aspen Neal, and McKinley Neal; nephews, Carter Emery and Lucas Neal; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her partner, Steven Tiszai; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Neal; and maternal grandparents, Terilla Romero Richard and Otis Glenn Jones.
