Jill Marie Smalley, 42 of Beal City passed away after a short battle with breast cancer on April 27, 2023, at Woodland Hospice House in Mt Pleasant, with the love of her life by her side. Jill was born on July 14, 1980, daughter of Mike and Dianne (Davert) Trombley. Jill graduated with a BSA degree from Central Michigan University. Jill loved her job with Kalamazoo Gardening Solutions, as could be seen in the many beautiful flowers she planted at her home.

Jill married the love of her life Steve Smalley, they have three wonderful boys which were such a blessing to her in her battle, being a mother and a wife gave her great joy. Jill is survived by Steven Smalley; sons, Chase, Brinden, and Jaxson Smalley all of Beal City; mother, Diane Panzarella of Kawkawlin;  father, Mike Trombley of Midland;  bonus mom, Sue Ghent; sister, Danielle (Kyle) Hostetler; and nephew, Ben all of Midland; brother, Tyler Gray of Bay City; grandmother, Jean Davert of Kawkawlin; brother-in-laws, David (Lori) Smalley and Scott Smalley of Grand Rapids and Bob (Tammy) Smalley of Mt Pleasant; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Jill was preceded in death by her loving brother, Christopher; grandparents, Benard and Dorothy Trombley; grandpa, Nelson Robert (Bob) Davert; father- in-law, Harold Smalley; and her loving mother-in-law, Elaine Martin Smalley.
