Jimmie Eugene Painter

Jimmie Painter, 72, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021, at home, with his family by his side.  Jimmie was born on February 3, 1949, son of the late James and Minnie (Henry) Painter in Roscommon County, MI.  He worked for Delfield Company for 39 years, before retiring in 2014.  Jimmie was an avid hunter and fisherman; he loved to camp and work with wood.  His dog Fancy was a loyal companion these last few years.  Jimmie is survived by his two daughters, Aislinn Painter of Eagle Lake, Fl., and Heather (Hugo) Pascoa of Winterhaven, Fl.; siblings, Paul Curtis of Winn, Caroline Thomas of Harrison, Roger (Laurie) Painter of Hemlock and Sharon Johnson of Harrison; Granddaughter, Liara Pasco; and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by both parents; sister, Linda Fisher; and brother, Duane Curtis.    Jimmie's funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 1, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Cremation will take place after, and his ashes will be interred in the Pine River Cemetery in Rolland Township.
