Joan M. Preece, age 85 of Weidman passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at McLaren Central Michigan, Mt. Pleasant.

Joan was born on March 1, 1933 to Lionel & Florence (Mann) Murray in Toronto, Canada. She married Eric A. Preece and spent 63 wonderful years together. She loved gardening, reading and most of all spending time with her family. .

Joan is survived by her children; Rick A. Preece of Weidman, David (Janette) Preece, Susan C. Preece and daughter-in-law, Nanette Preece; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings; Michael Murray, Catherine Botz and James Murray.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Eric; parents; son, Robert; great granddaughter, Sidney and one brother, Patrick.

Honoring Vera's wishes cremation has taken place.
