John Edward Beltinck

John E. Beltinck, 49, of Rosebush passed away peacefully Monday, December 16, 2002 at home surrounded by his family. A memorial mass will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, December 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Robert Byrne officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 3-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the John E. Beltinck Memorial Fund. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. John was born April 26, 1953, in Mt. Pleasant the son of William and Wenonah (Block) Beltinck. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1971. He then spent 28 years at Central Michigan University as an electronics engineer. He was a highly intelligent man. He loved to read old books and he collected antiques. He was also known to be an excellent gardener. John is survived by his wife, Nicole Beltinck; two children, Stephanie (Jon) Prout of Rosebush and Benjamin John Beltinck of Mt. Pleasant; and their mother, Lizabeth Beltinck of Mt. Pleasant; his grandson, Jack Prout; his parents, William and Wenonah Beltinck of Rosebush; his brother, Scott (Susan) Beltinck of Rosebush; two sisters, Victoria (Kevin) Rogers of Clare and Denise (Ronney) Morey of Mt. Pleasant; and his nieces and nephews, Alissa Haynak, Andrea Porter, Elizabeth TerHaar, Steven Carpenter, Max Morey, Jennifer Morey, Mathew Burden, Nicole Beltinck, Brooklyn Beltinck, Luke Beltinck and Jessie Beltinck. He was preceded in death by a sister, Therese Faith Sheredy.
