John R. Bierschbach, 37, of Lake died Saturday, May 21, 2005 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, at St. Joseph The Worker Church in Beal City with Father John Cotter presiding. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at Lux Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant on Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with a vigil service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105. John was born July 31, 1967 in Mt. Pleasant the son of Thomas J. and Carol A. (Hart) Bierschbach. He graduated from Beal City High School in 1986 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served during Desert Storm from 1988-1992. He was employed by Oldsmobile in Lansing. Some of Johns favorite pastimes were hunting, mud-bogging, and NASCAR events. John is survived by his parents, Tom and Carol Bierschbach of Beal City; two sisters, Debbie (Steve) Loeb of St. Johns and Teresa Bierschbach of Auburn Hills; his niece and nephew, Jessica and Joe; maternal grandmother, Vivian Wilson; and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe in 1977; paternal grandparents, Julius and Christina Bierschbach; and maternal grandfather, Roger Hart.
