John Richard Fabiano

John Fabiano, 63, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022, at home after a five-year bout with cancer. He was born February 3, 1959, in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, son of the late Joseph George and Helen Julia (Kile) Fabiano. He attended Mt. Pleasant High School with the class of 1977 and worked for various oil rig companies as well as two mason companies (Roger Fussman Masonry and Grim Enterprise). He enjoyed racing and loved music. John is survived by his siblings, Joseph G. Fabiano of Blue Lake in Mecosta, Cindy (Brian Brink) Fabiano Brink of Haslett and Kim (Roger) Fussman of Mt. Pleasant; and nieces and nephews, Nicole (John Oertel) Fabiano Oertel, Michael (Karine) Fabiano, Krista Fabiano, Janie Brink (fiancé Adam Lewis), Collin Brink, and Hanna Fussman (fiancé Noah Reno). He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant brother, Thomas Mark Fabiano. Cremation has taken place and his memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Fussman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Rite of Committal will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Animal Treatment Society (HATS). Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
