John Joseph O'Connor

John OConnor, 56, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2015 at his home. A Memorial Service for John will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. John was born February 1, 1959 in Jackson, MI, son of James and the late Patricia (Rakowski) OConnor. John is survived by his father, James OConnor of Lancanto, FL; two children, John G. (Stephanie) OConnor of St. Louis and Laura Lynn-Peel OConnor of Mt. Pleasant; one grandchild, Nathaniel OConnor of Mt. Pleasant; three sisters, Julie Jones of FL, Mary Beth Cranball of FL, and Patty Irwin of MI; two brothers, Michael OConnor of MI and Jimmy OConnor of CA; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Barbara (Anger) OConnor and his mother.
