Joni Lynn (Spitler) Boyd

Joni Lynn Boyd, of Dimondale, a pillar of love and compassion, graced this world with her presence on August 10, 1958, in Lansing, Michigan. On February 1, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family and friends, Joni peacefully embarked on her eternal journey. Her legacy of kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Joni's life was a testament to the power of love and family. She was the cherished daughter of James Robert and Sandra Kay (Parsons) Spitler, and her memory will live on through her three devoted sons, Jason (wife Amy) Church, Jimi Jones, and Jacob Jones. Her adoring granddaughter, Julia Church, brought endless joy into her life. Joni is also survived by her loving brother, Jim (wife Sarah), and sister, Loreen (husband Al) Chaffee, who shared in her journey through life's joys and challenges.

Her spirit of generosity and acceptance knew no bounds. While Joni found fulfillment in her work at Quality Dairy, where she formed countless friendships and brightened the days of those she served, her true calling was in nurturing relationships. Known affectionately as "Mom" by many, Joni's love extended far beyond the boundaries of her own family. Her open heart and welcoming embrace touched the lives of all who crossed her path, leaving a lasting mark of kindness and compassion.

A celebration of Joni's life will be held on Saturday, February 17th , from 1-5pm, at Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1111 N Cedar Rd, Mason, MI 48854, where friends and family can gather to honor her memory and share stories.
