Jose Esibel Rodriguez

Jose Rodriguez, 81, of Lake, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 1, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Clare. He was born April 20, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, son of the late Jose and Ofelia (Olivo) Rodriguez. Jose retired from General Motors but continued working on cars and in the junk yard up until his passing. He is survived by his children, Becky (Ron) Daniels, Vicki Paton, Monica Rodriguez, Jose (Martha) Rodriguez, and Michael (Carmen) Rodriguez; 19 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; seven brothers; one sister; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Marta Rodriguez; and brothers, Frank Rodriguez, Gilbert Rodriguez, and Toby Rodriguez. The family will receive friends at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home on Friday, January 7, from 10-11 a.m. His funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Following the service all are invited to a luncheon in Lincoln Reception Center (attached to the funeral home). Jose will be laid to rest in Porter Township Cemetery in Midland County.
