Joyce E. Finegan

Joyce E. Finegan, 83, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Cremation has taken place and her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Trenton, MI. Her ashes will be interred in Our Lady Of Hope Cemetery on Allen Rd. in Riverview. A luncheon will follow at Sibley Gardens, 916 W. Jefferson Ave., Trenton. Joyce was born Jan. 6, 1933, in Altoona Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Wilfred and Elsie (Nale) Murray. She attended the University of Detroit. Joyce was a homemaker and worked in retail fashion when her children were grown. Joyce especially liked gourmet cooking, canvas painting, golfing, and book discussion club. She was a caring and very kind woman who was known for going out of her way to make others happy. Joyce is survived by four sons, Timothy, John Robert, Michael, her brother Joseph Murray and eight grandchildren.
