Judy Walker, 74, of Farmington Hills, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at home, surrounded by her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, with Father Brian Chabala presiding. Cremation will follow with her ashes being interred at Oakland Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with the Vigil beginning at 7 p.m. Visitation continues at the church 30 minutes prior to Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Judy was born Feb. 27, 1936, in Detroit, the daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Maike) Bozynski. A graduate of Rochester High School in 1955, she married William Walker on Feb. 2, 1963, at St. Andrews Church in Rochester. She enjoyed reading, collecting dolls and bears, and watching old westerns. The greatest joy in her life was caring for children. Judy is survived by her husband of 47 years, William Walker; three children, Karen (Ken) Fecteau of Macomb, Thomas (Tisha) Walker of Farmington Hills, and Kristine (Andrew) McClelland of Chesapeake, VA; seven grandchildren, Nathan, Brandon, and Kaitlyn Fecteau, Sarah and Jacob Walker, and Jonathan and Kevin McClelland; her brother, Dick (Diane) Bozynski of Rochester Hills; two sisters-in-law, Louise Bozynski of Lapeer and Marion Bozynski of Commerce; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Bob Bozynski; and her sister, Gerry Janik.
