Judy Irene Melius Bearup

Judy Irene Melius Bearup, age 71, of Weidman, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Covenant Hospital " Harrison Campus in Saginaw, Michigan. She was born on August 6, 1945 in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Albert Alvin and Lucille Irene (Tilson) Melius. On March 24, 2012, she married Hiram (John) Bearup in Weidman, Michigan. Judy lived in Weidman for the past nine years and for over thirty years in the area. She was employed as a Nurses Aide for many years. She was a member of the Weidman Church of the Nazarene. Judy is survived by her husband, Hiram (John) and her children, sons: Deon and Terri Parker of Lansing, Shane and Cynthia Parker of Weidman, Brandon and Andrea Anderson of Beaverton, daughters: Gerry Lynn and Gary Puente of Lansing, Shiree VanBlarcom of Farwell and Tierra Zeitz of Farwell. Fifteen grandchildren including a special granddaughter Tina Keene and twenty great grandchildren. Three brothers: Donald Melius of Farwell, Jerry Melius of Mt. Morris, Rodney Melius of Farwell and a sister Bonnie Norris of Bradenton, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lucille Melius and a sister, Virginia Mae Melius. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 1:30 pm from the Rowley Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Brandon Metger and Rev. Matt Gunderman officiating. Interment will take place in Surrey Township Cemetery, Farwell, Michigan. Friends will gather with the family on Saturday from 11:30 am until time of the service at 1:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
