Karen Sanders

Karen Sanders, 66, of Lake Isabella, passed away Monday, July 5, 2010, at Woodland Hospice. Cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned. The family is being served by Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Karen was born Oct. 19, 1943, in Detroit, the daughter of the late Jack and Vera (Vink) McKenna. She moved to Lake Isabella in the early 90s from the Detroit area. She retired from Lil Chef where she was employed as a waitress. Karen is survived by her sister, Shirley (James) Stuart of Tampa, FL; brother, Gary (Paula) McKenna of Indian Trail, NC; and special friends, Terry and Jan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Sanders; and daughter, Suzanne Frahm.
