Karol June Stratton

Karol June (Bray) Stratton, age 72 of Lake Isabella (formerly of Okeechobee, Florida) passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019.

Karol was born on May 2, 1947 to Kenneth E and Mary A (Burleson) Bray, Sr. in Grand Rapids. She grew up in the Grand Rapids area. On October 30, 1965 Karol married Charles Alton Stratton in Detroit and they were happily married for 55 years. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, going to the casino, and attending church; while in Florida she attended the Brighton Baptist church of Okeechobee. Karol loved her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed especially by her husband Chuck.

Karol is survived by her husband, Chuck; children, Kenneth (Lisa) Stratton, Merri (Randy) Bennett and Charles Stratton, Jr.; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Jacquelyn Hilley, Karen (Tom) McArthur and Kenneth (Georgia) Bray; and numerous, nephews, nieces, cousin and friends.

Karol was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marcia Lampert.

In honoring Karol's life a Meet and Greet luncheon will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Weidman Community Center, 5918 W. Bridge Street in Weidman. Visiting with the family will be held one hour prior to the meal from noon to 1 p.m.

Memorial donations in Karol's memory may be made to the family.
